Ashi Singh to Replace Avneet Kaur in Alladin Naam Toh Suna Hi Hoga

As the Unlock mission has begun, the shooting of several serials has started. But replacements are taking place as several actors are not feeling safe to come out of their houses during the pandemic.
Avneet Kaur, who plays Yasmine in Alladin Naam Toh Suna Hi Hoga, has quit the show for the same reason. However, Ashi Singh, Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai heroine, is going to replace her in the show.
When asked about this, Ashi said that she loves to play different roles with different characteristics. When Aladdin was offered to her, she did not have any second thoughts. She grabbed the opportunity at its first chance, as the role of Yasmine is very different from that of her previous role as Naina in Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai. And she was prompted to take up the fantasy role, as it would require action and challenge.
It is not easy to replace any character, let alone a heroine, as the audience will have an emotional attachment. Besides, it is very difficult to overcome the benchmark set by the original actress. However, since the show is returning after a 3-month break, the audience may accept a new face while reconnecting.
Avneet has expressed her unhappiness about quitting the show. She said she does not want to discontinue the show but has no other way as she is worried about her health. Last year, she has suffered from Dengue fever, which has pulled her immunity down. Also, from the pressure of her board exams, she has been exhausted. Despite these, she had resumed her role, .but now, her parents are worried about her resuming the shoots, and thus she has decided to quit. ‘Health comes first,’ she says.
