Gandi Baat Season 4

Gandi Baat, Hindi’s web series was created by Sachin Mohite and developed by Ekta Kapoor. The streaming partners for Gandi Baat are ALTBalaji, Zee5 and also available on Anveshi Jain Official App. After completing three successful seasons of Gandi Baat: Urban Stories From Rural India, ALTBalaji has released the much-awaited season 4.

Gandi Baat Season 4 Story

Ankit Bharadwaj & Saba Saudagar in the roles of Amar and Kanchan are a married couple. They bring Prem(Ashish Dixit) into their lives to enliven their marriage. Finally, the three choose to live together descending into polygamy which is considered a major taboo.

The second episode comes with a message which portrays the silent sufferings of rural women. Surprisingly, role play is the theme of this episode. A dancer was said to have cursed a village for men and women to interchange their roles for seven days a month, which becomes an observed tradition. The women who suffer in the hands of men could finally avenge all the ill-treatment and fulfill their sexual fantasies.

Episode 3 is about Jayanth(Rishabh Shukla) who is fed up with his nagging wife Megha(Ibra Khan). In the process of buying the Almera, Jayant meets widow Kamlesh(Garima Jain) who later turns into lovers. Out of deprivation, both Jayanth and Kamlesh go to the extremity of eliminating their spouses. After purchasing the Almera, Jayant finds her husband’s corpse in it. Kamlesh later reveals that she killed her husband. The episode aptly ends with a voice-over, “If marriages are made in heaven, then why do they fail on earth?”.

The fourth episode deals with how women trade their husbands for change and the repercussions that follow. Here, the women send their unemployed husbands to please beautiful urban women who visit their village to have some raw fun. This way their wives see an opportunity to earn some money.

In the last episode, Kusuma(Mridula Mahajan) adores sexuality but is afraid of intercourse. It follows the evils arising out of unawareness and how Kusuma overcomes her fears.

Each episode in the series features a separate erotic themed story from rural India. All the actors performed admirably. The negativity surrounding the sleaze factor and skin show is used to spread some invaluable messages. Filmmaker Chital Rajesh has put great efforts into screenplay and direction. Sachin Mohite deserves all the accolades for his bold portrayal of complexities involved in marital lives.

The Tollywood upcoming film directed by Shekar Kammula is a dance drama produced by Sri Narayandas Narang and Sri P. Ram Mohan Rao under Sree Venkateswara Cinemas banner. It stars Naga Chaitanya, Sai Pallavi, Rao Ramesh and Posani Krishna Murali in the lead roles.

However, Love Story is delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was initially planned to be released on the second of April. The song ‘Ay Pilla’ that was released before the pandemic breakdown on Valentine’s Day had kindled anticipation among the fans for the movie. The music by Pavan, an A R Rahman product of KM Music Conservatory, and the sizzling chemistry between Sai Pallavi and Naga Chaitanya made the fans swoon over the film.

‘Love Story’ is Sai Pallavi’s second movie with Director Sekhar Kammula, the first one being the roaring success of Fidaa in 2017. She has got another platform to exhibit her dancing skills. She had earned fame for dance, especially after ‘Rowdy Baby’ with actor Dhanush that crossed 7.5 million views.
